CSILLA JUHÁSZ

(GLOR NA GAEL Irish Wolfhounds)

President of the Sighthound Club of Hungary
FCI International judge, Budapest Hungary

Judge Profile

I fell in love with the Irish Wolfhound in 1992, and they fast became the love of my life. When our population grew, I decided to sell my house in town and buy a 4 acre farm where my hounds enjoy a pretty idyllic life.

I have been showing and breeding wolfhounds for 33 years under my kennel name 'GLOR NA GAEL' in Szentes, Hungary. The mission that I set for myself was to contribute to the health and welfare of the breed.

Careful breeding is a must for me and every litter is well planned, never breeding my bitches before the age of 3 and I stud carefully selected to the appropriate bitch. For me, temperament is as important as genetic soundness and longevity. My bloodline is known for its sweetness. My puppies are born and raised in the house with me and are socialised at a very early age. I do test my hounds on a regular basis for all genetic diseases since I believe that the responsibility of breed health rests on the shoulders of the breeder. In the show ring, my hounds have been very successful in winning major Club Specialties both in Hungary and abroad and also gained National, International and World titles. Many hounds that I have bred have become Champions in European countries, the USA and Canada. After successfully passing the exam of the judge's course in 2010 for my breed, the Irish Wolfhound, I went on to be accredited to judge all sighthounds.

I am qualified by the Hungarian Kennel Club to judge {under FCI Groups IV, V and X} and continuously attend the educational courses of the Hungarian Cynology. Since 2012, I have judged in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Belgium, Finland, Croatia, Germany, Belarus, Luxembourg, Canada, Denmark, France, Norway, Italy, Ireland and Hungary.

It is an exceptional pleasure and honour for me to be invited to judge in Latvia. I look forward to meeting you and your hounds.
